Kaiser Permanente members now have the ability to quickly and easily get an online estimate of how much they can expect to pay for a prescription drug. By signing in to kp.org before filling a prescription, members can use the drug pricing tool to get a personalized estimate. Using the most current pricing and benefits information, members can become more informed and stay more engaged with their health costs.

The drug pricing tool allows members to:

• Get personalized drug cost estimates and their share of the cost based on their health plan benefits, allowing them to better understand and plan for their medication costs
• See the cost difference for using the mail-order pharmacy versus pharmacy pickup
  

How to get an estimate

Members can access the tool by signing in to kp.org and clicking “Coverage and costs” then “Drug cost.”
